John Alexander Taylor MFA thesis exposition works deal with a high constant mural images of the industrial world made from black vinyl. His work is a journal of images that he has collected off the highways of North Texas. He is searching for sweeping stark landscapes and iconic highway imagery that has a strong composition. Besides the large mural, his works on etched plexi glass use the industrial iconic imagery showing multiple layers of vinyl and the use of shadow to give an illusion of three dimensional art works.
